Longcase Clock

These clocks are individually made from kiln dried rough sawn oak boards, which are selected for their character and quality and then hand crafted into this beautiful time piece which is destined to be an antique of the future. The final finish is second to none, which is lacquered and waxed by hand to a smooth satin sheen.
The movement, which is made by Hermle runs for 8 days, it is driven by 3 weights suspended on brass chains which in turn are  used to wind the mechanism. The Westminster chimes are played on an 8 rod gong which can be turned off or set to automatic night silence if required. The accuracy of the movement is determined by -
