Mantle Clock

This clock is individually made from solid oak to the same exacting standards as the longcase clock, it has an 8 day  mechanical movement with Westminster chimes played on a 5 rod brass gong which can be selected on or off. The movement is spring driven and is wound by the key supplied, it has a balance wheel escapement which means it can sit on a sideboard that is not true to level and is extremely accurate. All fittings are made from solid brass including the dial plate and spandrels. At the rear of the clock is a door to give easy access to the movement. The finish on this clock is of a high standard -
